The following is a list of properties that the PVA office has classified as “abandoned”. These properties are owned by deceased individuals, the property isn’t being maintained/used and the property taxes haven’t been paid in several years. Another indicating factor is the tax bills are returned each year.
If a property listed below is owned by a relative of yours, meaning you are a descendant, you may have an ownership stake in the property along with the other descendants. Taking legal title may require contacting an attorney to determine the correct procedure.
