Historic Photos

In the 1950s the “McCracken County Tax Commissioner” started taking photos of properties. The photos were glued onto the property cards. Most of the photos you see below are those photos. Some may be newer. PDFs of the old property cards are available in each property report on our Qpublic website.

These photos have also been featured on our Facebook page for “Photo Friday” and on the “I Remember Paducah When” group.

These photos are also available on our Qpublic website map. To view a photo in it’s approximate location on a map go to our Qpublic map, select “Historic Photos” on the left and click the word “Historic Photos”. Yellow dots should appear on the map where the photos are available. Click a yellow dot to see a thumbnail of the photo. A larger version of the photo is available.
